This Sunday Town Hall will be hosting an educational briefing and benefit concert to raise awareness and support for the people of Haiti in the wake of the tragic earthquake that devastated the country early this month. Speakers will include eyewitness testimony from Jesse Hagopian, local activist and educator, and Sarah Wilhelm, health educator; NAACP Director James Bible; immigrant rights advocate Sandra Aguila; International Studies professor Matthew Sparke; Representative Jim McDermott; King County Councilmember Larry Gossett, and others.

This Sunday Town Hall will be hosting an educational briefing and benefit concert to raise awareness and support for the people of Haiti in the wake of the tragic earthquake that devastated the country early this month.

Beginning at 4pm, the briefing, entitled “What Can I Do?” will offer insight and eyewitness testimony to the ongoing challenges for the country’s government, economy and national health, and the ways this devastating earthquake has exponentially intensified what was already a “silent emergency.”

Speakers will include eyewitness testimony from Jesse Hagopian, local activist and educator, and Sarah Wilhelm, health educator; NAACP Director James Bible; immigrant rights advocate Sandra Aguila; International Studies professor Matthew Sparke; Representative Jim McDermott; King County Councilmember Larry Gossett, and others.

The program will also include dinner and conclude with a benefit concert. All proceeds dollars. will be directed to Partners in Health and International Training and Education Center for Health.

The briefing will be conducted free of charge, while the concert will be accessible for a suggested donation of twenty dollars.
