Join the Greater Seattle League of Women Voters for a Primary Election Forum to hear statewide candidates for two State Supreme Court seats and four local King County District 8 candidates prior to the August 17 primary election.

One Supreme Court contest will be decided by the Primary election August 17 as there are only two candidates. King County Council District 8 voters will choose among four candidates which two will be on the November 2nd ballot.
In 2009 King County began conducting all elections by mail. Registered voters automatically are mailed a ballot 20 days before each eligible election. To be counted, mail ballots must be postmarked by election day, August 17.
