On June 12th citizens in cities all over the world will be riding naked through their towns, protesting oil dependency and celebrating the power and individuality of our bodies!

World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) - Saturday, 12 June 2004
WHO?
Every body is invited! The World Naked Bike Ride is being organized by many different groups. The groups are only connected by their determination to all be naked on their bikes June 12th, riding in celebration.
HOW ?
You are invited to not only ride with us on June 12th, but you are also invited to help organize a naked bike ride in the country and city of your choosing. All you have to do is fill out the sign-up form (at http://worldnakedbikeride.org) and we will help you set up a web page with all the necessary information, such as meeting and after party location. There are other resources on the main WNBR site as well that you may find interesting and useful.
What to wear? Do not fear! Go as bare as you dare - wear as much or as little as you wish. Please be creative and colorful! Bodypainting is encouraged!
After signing up we recommend that you focus on promoting the event, we want as many people as possible to show up! Strength in numbers! Naked Bicycle People Power!
We suggest people take on the following tasks for organizing a successful naked bike ride:
(1) Decide on a start location and time.
(2) Design a 1/4 page size promotional flyer. This has always been the most important component in the success of our past naked bike rides.
(3) Distribute the flyers. In the past we have distributed about 3000 flyers per event. For larger cities, we suggest distributing about 5000 flyers or more.
(4) Get endorsements from environmental, car-free, social justice, and body freedom groups for the regional ride. These can be added to the endorsement list. Which groups endorse the regional ride is entirely at the discretion of the regional riders.
(5) Get as many web links as possible pointing to http://worldnakedride.org Get it on all the regional event calendars.
(6) Tell your friends, co-workers, and family. Those closest to you are often the most likely people to provide support.
(7) [optional] Decide on a location for the bodypainting party before the ride. Many naked cyclists love to get painted or make minimums for themselves before riding. This can be a special event just by itself and can generate a lot of interest.
(8) [optional] Decide on a location for the after party following the ride. Naked cyclists love beer.

Morning - Bodypainting party for those who wish to make their own "minimums" or get painted up. We are looking for a host, artists, and participants
11:30 AM - Meet at Gasworks Park, at the south end of Seattle's Wallingford District.
12 Noon - Begin ride on Burke Gilman Trail after leaving Gasworks Park, then proceed to the Fremont District, cross under the Aurora Bridge/Highway 99, go under Fremont Bridge, turn right/North to go up Phinney Ave North two blocks to N 36th Street (arterial), go East/right on 36th towards Fremont Ave. This is the Center of Fremont (or the Center of the Universe as the locals say) as marked by a sign in the median that you pass (to your left), stay right at intersection of N 35th/36th and Fremont Ave.
Turn right and proceed southbound on Fremont Ave., after a block you may see the famous Waiting for the Interurban sculpture on your left, continue south across the Fremont Bridge into the Queen Anne District, go down Dexter Ave N. (which has an on street bicycle lane), stay on Dexter Ave N as you enter the Westlake portion of the Cascade District, continue to the Seattle Center, make a stop at the Seattle Center's International Fountain.
