Benefit Brunch & Silent Auction for Bert Sacks Medical Fund
A fundraising brunch and silent auction to celebrate Bert Sacks, who
has worked unpaid since the mid-1990s to raise our consciousness on
the effects of war and sanctions as well as tens of thousands of
dollars for medical and other supplies for the victims of those
sanctions. Bert, who is uninsured, recently suffered a mild heart
attack and faces medical bills of over $57,000. It is our turn to

Using interactive theater and dialogue, we will investigate the complexities of gender, gender histories, internalized and external transphobia and sexism, and the impacts of violence / power / oppression on our communities.
